Your OpenAI key for teleprompter and subtitle transcription.

Velora uses OpenAI to transcribe speech: the teleprompter and subtitles. You bring your key, and without one these features stay greyed out.

Before you start

  • An account on platform.openai.com, with credits.
  • The Owner or Admin role in Velora.

Steps

  1. Open the keys page. Log in on platform.openai.com and open API keys.
  2. Create a key. Click Create new secret key, name it Velora, pick your project and copy the key. It's only shown once.
  3. Paste the key into Velora. Fill in “API key”, then click Test. The key is encrypted and won't be shown in full again.

If it doesn't work

  • Test fails → copy the key again, it starts with sk-.
  • Quota error → add credits to your OpenAI account.
