ElevenLabs (voices)
Your ElevenLabs key for Voice Notes in the model's own voice.
4 min
Velora uses ElevenLabs for Voice Notes: voice messages in the model's own voice. You bring your key, and without one the feature stays greyed out.
Before you start
- An ElevenLabs account on a plan that allows voice cloning.
- Written consent from every model whose voice you use.
- The Owner or Admin role in Velora.
Steps
- Open the keys page. On elevenlabs.io, open your profile then API Keys.
- Create a key. Create a key named
Velora. If you restrict its rights, keep at least text to speech and voices. Copy it, it's only shown once. - Paste the key into Velora. Fill in “API key”, then click Test. The key is encrypted and won't be shown in full again.
- File the consent. Keep the model's written agreement in her folder before creating her voice.
If it doesn't work
- Test fails → copy the key again or create a new one.
- Permission error → the key is too restricted, add text to speech and voices.
- Out of characters → your ElevenLabs plan is used up for the month.
