Anthropic (Claude)

Your Claude key to write tips, reports and ideas.

Velora uses Claude to write text: tips, reports and content ideas. You bring your own key, and without one these features stay greyed out.

Before you start

  • An account on Anthropic's Claude Console, with a payment method.
  • The Owner or Admin role in Velora.

Steps

  1. Open the keys page. Log in to the Claude Console, formerly console.anthropic.com, and go to API keys.
  2. Create a key. Click Create Key, name it Velora and copy it right away.
  3. Set a spend limit. In your organization's limits, set a monthly cap. Your bill won't go above it.
  4. Paste the key into Velora. Fill in “API key”, then click Test. The key is encrypted and won't be shown in full again.
  5. You're set. Velora uses Claude Sonnet 5.5 by default.

If it doesn't work

  • Test fails → the key was disabled or copied wrong, create a new one.
  • Credit error → add credits or raise the limit in the Claude Console.
